hello Shannon

To get people into your contacts, you will need to open the message
first. Then press the mouse hot key to move to the top left corner. Now
use your mouse keys to arrow down.

or you can press shift+tab until you land in the from field and route
your mouse pointer to the contact name, right click, and move down to
add to contacts.

I like using the mouse navigation keys, but if you prefer the keyboard
after you shift+tab into the from area, use your arrow keys to make sure
the cursor is on the name. Press the context menu key and again arrow
down to add to contacts.

Subject: outlook 2010 help needed

Good morning

I have just recently upgraded my computer to windows 7 64 and
reinstalled outlook 2010.

I have a couple of questions regarding Outlook.

I am not sure that this is truly a WE thing but I do have a problem that
maybe one of you can help with.

The IT guys didn't copy my old contacts. This is sort of a problem.

According to help topics I have read on the web one can add contacts to
the contacts list by right clicking on the message.

I can't get my mouse to route to the list of messages. I only hear mouse
cannot be routed to custom control. Using the application key is no good
either. I am stumped as to how to get contacts entered other than by
hand or copy paste.

The status of messages is still incorrect and I don't know how to fix
that either. It was suggested to re-label the graphics with the mouse
and graphics editor but I again can't get the mouse to find the graphics
to try this approach. It says that I have replied to a message when It
was forwarded.

Is there a reason I can't use the mouse to do this? Do I have some
setting configured wrong?

I also do not understand the message formatting as it relates to viewing
in a browser. The virtualize message option is enabled but it will not
open messages in IE.

I have changed the hot key to ctrl shift Q for "QUICK" for my ease in
remembering the command.

Most of the time that command just bings at me but sometimes it will
report about editing. And that is disabled.

What messages can be viewed In the browser? How do you tell if a message
can be viewed in the browser?

I wonder if I don't have some sort of setting incorrect in my outlook
set up. This is one complicated animal. Smile

If anyone has a clue as to how to manage any of these problems I would
appreciate the help.

Shannon
