Hello, the same goes here in Canada. I got my equipment through an agency
called SET BC for my school days, and they only provided jaws, but I did
fight to have window-eyes, to no avail. The reason fortunately now I have
window-eyes. The only reason I use JAWS currently is because it does one
thing. it is esential for my recording studio at the moment. I am going to
be a recording engineer, and jaws tends to work full with the CakeTalking
scripts. So until Dancing dots can find a way to motify the scripts to make
it work with Window-Eyes, I'm sticking with jaws for now for Sonar support.
I do use window-eyes though as well so I have the best of both worlds what
got me started in window-eyes was the fact that when I got a laptop one
christmas, I couldn't load my jaws because it was xp pro, and I was using
jaws standard so I had to pay extra but at the same time my school provided
it to me I was forsed to get Window-Eyes until I got jaws pro, but even then
I didn't use jaws I started to distance myself from it for a while. and it
served me well. a message to gwMicro. congrats on winning the lawsuit
against fs. I want you to remember, that it was not your fault in the first
place.
