Have you never been told, that all blind people have such great memory? And don't you know why? Blind computer users, are being brain-washed by their screen reader. This is actually, a built-in feature of Window-Eyes. It is named "Window-Eyes Memorizer". Unfortunately, when GW invented the feature, their keyboard was broken, hence they never got the chapter of the User's Manual dealing with this feature written. The Window-Eyes Memorizer, is one of the things that makes this the rock-solid number one screen reader of the market. You are happy, that it really works perfectly well, on your computer. :) Window-Eyes repeating itself several times when focusing an object, chattering wildly everytime you hit any key whatsoever in a listview, and repeating long gone contents of closed screens; Oh, well, how many times do we hear about it. Yet, till now, I have been offered no solution. Please, if anyone knows how to turn off the Window-Eyes memorizer, then please inlighten the whole community. :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shannon" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 12, 2013 5:21 PM Subject: RE: Extraneous Chatter Vic, Same here on a Windows seven machine and WE 8.1. I have it all the time. I can get rid of the repeated text by unloading and reloading WE but it will just find another piece to repeat or if the same email or document is has been encountered it will pick up that message text again. I have mentioned this before and have heard of no fix for it yet. If you get an answer please share. On an XP pro PC with Office 2003 and IE8. From time to time I HEAR WE saying something from a previous session. Recently I heard We speak something I had in the MSAA buffer, but IE has been closed and it was a page I was at long before shutting down IE. Sometimes I also hear text being spoken from an email message or a word document. This has nothing to do with any text I may have copied into the copy/paste buffer.
