Thanks Tony and now to the list again,

I realize this has to do with the WE program, and when I try to remove my
"in-hook" items which appear when I run my AVG anti-virus scan, the one that
appears with the GWM initials in it appears as "hidden in a root kit". When
I press "remove it anyway", the pc needs to restart and when it comes back
the resolution is totally screwed up, I get a message that Window Eyes video
installer has not been assigned or something or another. Anyway to make a
long story short, I need to do a system restore to yesterday to get the pc
back to normal.

This is the only infection that appears when I run the anti-virus, and the
details say it may be the result of a malicious software.

I will leave this alone for now and continue to just reboot when I get the
services and controller app error message until I contact GW Micro.

My question now is does anyone know of a pc cleaner, or registry cleaner
program that will work and talk with window eyes. My AVG needs to have a
sighted person around, so I would rather have a program I could just manage
with my screen reader.

Thanks,

Daniel

you may also have an error in the system registery. If you have a reg
cleaner program you may try cleaning up the registery.

Subject: error message

Hi, hope someone can help.

When I turn on my computer (pc, using xp, IE8, WE 7.5.4.2), , 2 times out of
5 I get an error message about "services and controller app has done
something or another", and do I want to send an error message to Microsoft.
It doesn't matter what I do at this point, either do or don't. When I get
rid of the message I cannot get any program to open, and I cannot do a
CTRL+ALT+DEL either. I have to shut down manually and reboot and hope it
does not pop up again. If it does, I have to reboot until it does not
appear, about 2 or 3 times.

Does anyone know what this is about?

Thanks,

Daniel
