Something is up if Control-Numpad-Center is not reading lines because that
is a global hot key assignment. And yes, there are many hot keys that are
not assigned. But they are generally functions that few users use. But
again, if the global read line hot key isn't assigned then something is
messed up. Perhaps your friend should do a clean installation.

that there are alot of hot keys that are undefined. Also, he can not use
his ctrl-numpad-5 to read the current line of any document. When he
performs this action, it just says center. He has removed the insert key
layout from his aps and reset to factory defaults. Still nothing after
