you don't have to re install. just re assign the line option in the hot key/cursor menu. check that it is set to global and not program.

And yes, there are many hot keys that are not assigned. But they are generally functions that few users use. But again, if the global read line hot key isn't assigned then something is messed up. Hello! I have a friend who is running the window eyes demo. He has discovered that there are alot of hot keys that are undefined. Also, he can not use his ctrl-numpad-5 to read the current line of any document. When he performs this action, it just says center.
