Actually, in the Windows 9X days, WE had a standard and professional
version. If you upgraded to the professional version which worked on XP
your sn had the letter p as the first character. GW changed this very
quickly. WE has had only one version for a long time. The LTO copies have
some differences but there is no longer a standard and professional version.

more than likely p stands for paid and l stands for leased.

Hi. I just received a copy of Window-eyes 8.3.0 on cd which
is cool, but the interesting thing is that the serial number on the cd
jacket is different than the one I usually have. To explain this a little
further, I have a Lease-To-Own copy of Window-eyes, and the serial number
starts with l, but the one I received on the cd jacket starts with p,
and is completely different than my usual one. I'll not give either one
out here for quite obvious reasons, smiles.
Also, I'm wondering if there's a way I can tell how many more monthly
payments I have left to make? I just want to make sure this wasn't sent
to me in error for some reason. The different serial number was what
caught my attention so I thought I would write in.
Thanks folks.
