Brenda,

I find IE10 just fine, no more or less accessible than 9. However, some
very poorly written web sites don't yet work with IE10; they evidently test
on the version number improperly, and they seem to treat IE 10 as if it were
version 1, and that is less than the minimum version of IE which they
support, so you get an error message.

One such site for me is the one used by the entire state of Florida for its
employees financial information! So, I have to go to work where I have IE9
on my desktop PC there. This will eventually get fixed every where, but it
sure is annoying while I wait.

I upgraded because IE 10 is said to be more secure, more resistant to
malware attacks, but otherwise, I didn't notice any change from IE 9.

Hth,

Chip

Subject: Internet Explorer 10--is it more accessible than 9?

hello y'all,

Is Internet Explorer 10 more accessible than 9? I'm asking for a reason.

I have 9 in my new Windows 7 PC. The tech that built my computer says that
so many of his clients did not like 10, because of one thing or another and
they all went back to 9. How is 10 with Window-Eyes? I bet this has been
discussed before, but I need to know if I should upgrade to 10 or not?

Take care and thanks,

Brenda
