Windows has two key combinations that we need to be careful about. Control+shift is to change keyboard layouts. alt+shift is to change languages. If we use these quickly as modifiers without pressing a letter then instead of issuing a Window-Eyes hotkey command we have invoked a Windows keyboard shortcut instead. I often change my keyboard layout by accident, because i let go of the control+shift before pressing a letter.
