The only ones who will have a problem will be the people who use shoutcast to broadcast because that will go away.

I think some of you are taking the sentence, Winamp is going away a bit too literally. The program will still function for years to come. We've been able to use the program since 1997 when it first came out in its very early days, and we'll be able to use it until a version of Windows is released that doesn't support programs like Winamp. The only thing going away is the website to download it, and development of the program will stop too, but again your current instalation and all previous versions will still work for a long long time to come.
