I think we need to extend your "beware" to some other software nowadays.  If 
you update your JAVA version, they often try to sneak in that darned ASK 
toolbar.  I think it would be well to say that if you are going to update or 
install ANYTHING these days, it behooves you to look at that screen just before 
you click the INSTALL button to see if they are trying to foist some other 
damnable toolbar or search engine on you.  I believe that MONEY is the root 
cause of much of that chickanery; the "main provider" partners with one of 
these other companies so that they receive ad money if the user installs the 
piece they want to push.  In my experience, the function has never been an "opt 
in" function by which you check the box if you want it.  You have to look 
carefully and UNCHECK the box to tell them that you don't want it.  So I will 
add a bit of emphasis to Sandra's warning:  BEWARE!!!
