The trick I discovered is to use Internet Explorer and make sure the page
is in compatibility view. Then and only then, at least for me, using IE10,
are the check boxes exposed for Chrome and the Google tool bar or whatever
it is.

The last time I updated the Flash Player I was using JAWS 14. The next
time I will give Window-Eyes a try. JAWS could not detect the check box
that controls the installation of optional software such as Google
Chrome. If anyone finds out that WE can detect this check box, let us
all know. It is checked by default, which installs the optional
software.
I took a chance and pressed Spacebar on the line that begins with Yes,
and is where I recall that the check box was located. I was able to
confirm that the optional software would not be installed by looking at
the size of the download further on down the web page. It was less
after I pressed Spacebar to uncheck the box.
