I think he meant that once you have downloaded the Install Packages app, the 
hotkey is CTRL-WINDOWS-I to check for updates.
  Alternatively, unless you have uninstalled/disabled Appget, which ships with 
Window-Eyes, WINDOWS-G will invoke this app.  With the appropriate settings 
enabled, Appget will tell you of any updates to apps you have installed.
