To anyone that has used the new voices, do they have the same verbosity tics that the previous Vocalizer voices display? I really wish they would fix things like hearing stop all of the time and reading about going to one saint street on the 1 street of November. I really like the Vocalizer voices otherwise, but they haven't shown any inclination as far as I can tell to fix them, so I find myself hesitant to buy more voices that might have similar issues that may never be addressed. None of this is GW Micro's fault and they really can't do anything to make the developers of voices fix issues, but I just am not going to jump and spend money this time without at least knowing in advance what issues I might be in for.

Regards,

Chris

The Microsoft speech platform voices can be downloaded from
www.gwmicro.com/voices and they work with Window Eyes on vista and higher.
The voices that come with Windows 8 are SAPI voices and come included with
Windows 8.

I am really confused about the Microsoft voices. Are they only available
in
Windows 8 and above or can they be used on a Windows 7 platform. Are
they
a
free download and where can they be downloaded from? Confused in the
state
of confusion, PA.
