Hi, not a bug in Thunderbird, just a change in how message tabs work. Control-w is a hot key which is used in many places to close windows. However you can get the add-on called CloseTab on esc and this will make it so you can press escape key to close messages. As for message graphics, there are none to label, this information is sent directly to Window-Eyes.

Hello all,

A couple things with Thunderbird 24 and Window-Eyes 8.4 Demo. First off,
after you read a message, we cannot hit escape and get out of it. We have to
hit CTRL-w to get out.

Second, none of my graphics read, so I canot tell if something has been
sent, replied to, or read. Not sure if I label the graphics, if that will
help.

Running a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system with Window-Eyes 8.4 demo.
I'm running the Thunderbird Enhanced App, Version 1.61, I believe it is--at
any rate, I'm trying to say that I'm running the latest one. Any help will
be appreciated here.

Thanks in advance,

Brenda
