I wanted to officially respond to this. This is definitely not true. The version of Window-Eyes that is available via the offer for users of Microsoft Office only has five very very small differences, which are clearly articulated at www.windoweyesforoffice.com. It operates just like the full retail version of Window-Eyes a and works with many programs, including web browsers, Wordpad, Notepad, etc just like the retail version. I made it extremely clear in the town hall meetings that this is a full functioning copy and there are only five minor differences. If people are spreading rumors that the free version via the offer does not work with other programs besides Office, please have them contact us as we do not want misinformation to be spread. Additionally, since this is a specific group, I would be happy to discuss this with those that are misinformed if you can send me the contact information privately. I want to make absolute certain that gossip is not being spread that provides misinformation about the offer.
