Hi Jed,

I would say mine takes about the same, maybe closer to three minutes or so, with a good Windows 7 Dell desktop, but I'm using a lot of peripherals, online backup and sharing services, I'm on a local network, Window-Eyes is loading a lot of apps, I'm using multiple instances of Winamp. Now, I wouldn't say that I can't get to the desktop during the long boot-up; however, I would say my PC is very sluggish until all those things I described are loaded.

hth,

Rod

Hey guys,
Alright, trying to troubleshoot some stuff here with windiw-eyes. My
computer, which is a decent machine, takes over 4 minutes to get to a full
desktop. This seems way too long. Any ideas of things to check?
I went in to msconfig, and all appears ok. Any other good places to check?
