Find out what all of the keys do when combined with the FN key. This has been cropping up on laptops for a number of years. I always set Read to End to Scroll Lock. But on this 4-year-old laptop I use as my primary home computer, I must use FN Insert for scroll lock, where Insert is next to Delete on the top row. And this old Toshiba laptop has a full numeric pad which works well with Window-Eyes. I recently read about a gaming PC that actually had a PS/2 input for the really old keyboards that preceded the USB ones! I think you may have to make a few adjustments to your ear-hand coordination. Now I am not sure if it has a "Applications" key. On my old keyboard the app key was the third from the spacebar on the right. On my new Keyboard a sighted personsaid those 3 keys are alt, fn and control. I am beginning to wonder how I can find a keyboard with all the keys necessary to get WE up and running. I used shift+f10 in place of the application key but not sure it is bringing up the Command Bar or some derrivitive Context Menu. Can you recommend a decent wireless full function full size keyboard with good feel and all the necessary keys? This will be the third keyboard I'll have to try out. I'm not even sure what I need a fn key for and want the "standard" or the old fashon layout that WE uses. Rick USA If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
