Hi: Just got off the phone with Logithec and sales and tech support say they no
longer support the Applications key, at least not on their wireless keyboards.
Note the staff was in India if that makes any diference.
The last keyboard they found that supported the Applications key was for xp
through windows 7.
Note one person said modern applications were getting away from using the
applications and numlock keys - havent heard that but it must be true -
Logitech isnt some flaky company but I'm not sure about their tech staff since
they had a really hard time trying to figure out what an applications key was
in the first place.
So, what can I do to get the full functionallity of the applications key and
still use WindowEyes effectively or what keyboard can I buy that will work with
WindowEyes that has all the keys necessary to make WindowEyes fully functional?
When I heard Marks' Podcast he used a keyboard with the applications key, which
keyboard with Windows 8 and hopefully 8.1 was he using?
Are the NumPad and Applications going away- seems that way.
How do you find a new modern keyboard with these 2 keys which are used so
heavily in the WindowEyes framework?
I have to return the one I have tomorrow or on Monday and wont have any
keyboard, if they will even take it back, otherwise I am out another $50 on top
of whatever the cost of the first one was that came with my Dell that had no
NumLock key.
So, what wireless, full size standard desktop computer keyboard does GW
Recommend?
