Hi, Alt-n focuses the notification bar. (Windows command) Insert-n rereads the notification bar if you missed it. (Window-eyes IE enhance.) Chris

It's managed by the IE Enhanced app. You should also hear it if you use Save As to save a file. It will announce the percentage of the download, when it is complete, and the buttons to run or save. Any buttons should also include the shortcut, e.g. Alt-S Show all content, Alt-P Open folder, Alt-C Cancel, etc. Hth, Tom On 9/25/2014 7:25 AM, Rick Thomas wrote: > OK, found a hot key I will try next time. > > Insert-n ReReads the “Notification Bar”. > > This may have been a use of the “Notification Bar” by the Website or > something rather than a standard alert or menu style PopUp message. > > So next time I will try Insert-n to see if I can get access to whatever > is locking WE up and that may handle the problem. > > Rick USA > > *From:* Rick Thomas [mailto:[email protected]] > *Sent:* Thursday, September 25, 2014 6:55 AM > *To:* 'Vaughan Dodd'; 'WE English Mailinglist' > *Subject:* RE: WE and WebPage Find Not Working > > Hi Again: > > I just had an apparent lockup happen: > > I was on the yahoo finance site and clicked the “Reuters” link to read > the headlines from Reuters. > > In this particular case WE read me a PopUp after the message > notification bell.
