Hello, I believe that, like me, Robert is in the UK.
I recently had this device on trial and it definitely came with a mains unit. Also, as it has an internal battery it will work with Blutooth without any other connection. I did not manage to get Blutooth working with my Windows laptop but it worked seemlessly on a Mac. The distributor warned me that the manual needed some re-writing as it is based on other models but I found it adequate to find out most of what I needed to know.
