They recommend running the removal tool only after  running the uninstaller 
from programs and features.
And yes the removal tool does have a CAPTCHA.

So to completely rid McAfee from ones system you'd need sighted assistance to 
solve the CAPTCHA.

Webroot Secureanywhere is another that makes you solve a CAPTCHA in order to 
remove it from ones system.

Speaking of Webroot, the last time I went to install a demo, I couldn't even 
install it without sighted assistance.

It was my understanding that you need to go to their site and download a
