Hi,
Do you have verbosity/browse mode/auto load/when browse mode is toggled set to 
indicate with speech or indicate with tones and speech.
I just set mine to tones and speech and I was getting browse on and off 
messages announced.

I find that browse mode isn't saying whether it's on or off with speech 
in the new beta. so the enter key isn't really helping in that respect.
