I find that browse mode isn't saying whether it's on or off with speech
in the new beta. so the enter key isn't really helping in that respect.

Well it turns out for me anyhow that the enter key which is part of
the numpad will not turn off browse mode if pressed but the regular
enter key not part of the numpad will. Can anyone else see this issue?
