A slight correction. In previous versions of the Braille Sense original
there was no add new, however the Voice Sense has always had it as well
as a different interface. Also, in current versions of the original
Braille Sense, it was added to mimic the Voice Sense interface. However,
we are leaving the current interface minus the add new item.
Hope this helps.

Raul,
In previous versions, the add new item was not there, my question,
why was it put there or was it put there by mistake?

Just as an FYI. the next version of the Sense firmware will have the
add new item removed from this list of found locations. So in the
future if you want to add a new entry yourself as you have described,
you will simply choose advanced, then the add new button is there as
it always has been.
Hope this helps.

Well, I think I do the same as you, and my network is connecting just
fine:
I turn wireless LAN on.
Go to utilities and then to setup internet and then to wireless LAN.
I then hear access point, add new, 1 of 5 and so I press enter on the
add new, as I have my network SSID broadcast turned off.
Then, in my case, I enter my network name, change the data encryption
to WEP, uncheck the box that says the key is provided automatically,
enter my network key and leave the other settings at their defaults.

I activate wireless. It says wireless lan on. But, I don't get
the connect double beep. When I go into Internet set up and to
wireless lan, it says that there is no profile. when I try to add
one, it says wireless lan is not connected.
My EEE PC, can see the wireless alright.
Has anyone encountered this, and what can I do about it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
