Then, too, for who knows what reason, it also seems to make a
difference on which Usb cable is used. I have several USB
cables, including the ones that came with my VS and SyncBraille.
And, well, kind of being lazy and all, I try to keep just one USB
cable handy to use with my card reader and hard drive and all.
And, although the two cables I tried last night both worked with
my card reader and hard drive when attaching them to my PC, only
one of those cables would work with my VS and PC.

One thing I often do is to delete all the previously established
partnerships. You really shouldn't have to do that, but for
whatever
reason I find it works better for me. Maybe it's just my simple
mind or
something.
