Hi, If the word, for instance, "best" was translated with exacting rules of grade II Braille where "be" is contracted. What would it look like? A semicolon and a slash or an "st" sign.
As to the question of grade II translation, I personally suggest contacting Braille Authority of North America. Can any of you grade 2 pundits explain why words like best, better, beep, and beer do not use the lower b contraction at the beginning of the word but words like begin, bemuse, and besot do use the lower b contraction? 2. When I use a comma OR PERIOD after the en contraction (dots 26), the VS does not say the word "enough" but just says en. Does anyone know why? Thank you, Steve .
