Hi Peter,
After you press enter c to copy the file, press the backspace key to back
out of the list of files and folders.  Repeat the backspace until you get to
the list of disks.  Arrow to the compact flash card and press enter.  If
desired, arrow to the desired folder and press enter.  Now press enter v to
paste the file.  HTH

Thanks for your advice.
My VS has recognised the c f card.
However, say I have an ASCII file on my c f card and I want to 
copy it to an s d card, I only get offerred the s c card as a 
place to save it, is it possible to select a folder on the s d 
card on to which I want it saved?
If so, how?
