Hi, Tessa! Believe it or not, I tried copying file by file, but when I got to somewhere around the 35th book, the problems began! I've not connected the BrailleSense Plus to my computer, but only because I have a card reader that I can connect to the computer. However, your suggestion is a good one, and I'll try that! There's not a problem with leaving the Sd and compact cards in your unit! I checked that out and have been told it doesn't hurt! Were I to do an upgrade, I'd remove the cards, not because something would happen to them, but more as a safeguard! Well, perhaps there will be an answer as I have discovered that mine is not the only unit that displayed that issue! Nonetheless, it doesn't even upset me; I just wondered if anyone on list had the problem and came up with a solution! I hope we'll not lose the ability to use the cards and I don't think we will!
