Compare often used to be written as an abbreviation, CF. Does that help?

The point isn't to have c.f. pronounced correctly, the
point is, why when i
type cf does the bsp say compare, it makes no sense so
far as I can see.
Here's a real oddity. I put one of my cf cards in the bsp
it tells me the
card has 3 folders, but when I put that same card in my
computer it brings
up some 2800 items, most of which appear to be system
files and it tells me
that I have mixed media files on the card which I don't
think is true. Any
suggestions as to why the discrepancy between machines?
and I don't seem to
be able to access any of the folders on the card when
it's in my pc but can
open the folders when it's in the bsp. This is very weird
and I suspect the
safest option is to reformat the card and then download
the material again?
BTW just for the sake of interest I started the bsp about
6-15 or so this
morning, it's been on most of the day, part of that with
the wired lan
turned off and the battery lasted me a little over 13
hours, that's not bad
really.

Tessa if you pthe letter sign ut before sd the speech
will pronounce it
correctly. For the CF card, for the speech to pronounce
it proberly, put CF
in uppercase!
