I agree, Mike.  But I think I should be able to choose whether or not I want 
the extraneous code.  Since I don't port Braille to any other device for 
purposes of creating a handout for the sighted eye, I need all the space I 
can cram words into.  Braille is SOLELY FOR MY PERSONAL USE, the extraneous 
code wastes precious space.
