You need to keep the e-mail in the BSP inbox in order to keep the BSP from
downloading it again? Say I'm mistaken!

What's happening is that you're deleting messages you've read.
If you don't delete them, they won't be downloaded a second
time. Apparently the BS will ask the pop server for messages
you've deleted.

This eventually means that you have a mailbox with thousands of
messages, and you have to figure out what to do about that.
After 1000 messages, I like to spool my email on my netbook
(which deletes email from the server) and then delete all
messages in the BS's mailbox.

downloading of email, or more likely to visit web sites, as the
Sense note takers seem to work a bit better with the web than
my mPower or PK. But, unfortunately for me, my PK decided to
stop working just before I went to Kentucky to visit my family
for the weekk. Thus, opting for portability, I chose to take
the VS with me, rather than the larger mPower with me to Kentucky.

with the Sense note takers. With the Humanware note takers, I
might Download a lot of email, read some of it but not all,
maybe even close the email program, and then go back later on
and download more messages. And, when I do this with my HW
note taker, I only get the new messages that have arrived since
the last time I checked the email. But, on the other hand,
when I try a similar thing with my VS, I get several, but not
all, of the emails I have already read and deleted before
closing the email program. In fact, I read all my emails and
deleted them just now and closed the email program. Then, when
I opened the program again and downloaded email, I still got
some of the messages I had already downloaded once and deleted.
And, yes, I do have the VS set to not leave a copy of the
messages on the server. So, does anyone have any idea why I
would be getting some of these messages twice when I have
already downloaded them and deleted them from the server? Or,
if no one else is having this issue, guess it could be because
I'm using my VS and Nokia N 82 and the dial-up connection
between them, which isn't always the best in this area going
from 1 to maybe 5 bars, could be causing this to happen?
