I sure miss the book reader from the braillenote products. I couldn't keep
the braillenote and buy something new.
I needed something lighter than the mPower, but I sure miss having one.
Would love an apex.

No terri, I'm referring to the lock mode, the mode used to lock the key
board or the keys on the front of the unit, or all of the above.
One other thing I did like about the voice note was that it had a book
reader separate from the word processor. files loaded into the reader
could
not be modified so no worries about setting read only protections. None
the
less as I've said before I really like my bsp.
Thanks for reminding me about the usb keyboards, think I'll investigate
that. Do they draw much from the battery? I ask because I got a keyboard
for
my old eureka and didn't realize that it was harder on the battery and
that
one should not leave the machine with keyboard attached unplugged. Maybe
that's not the way they're supposed to work but that was my experience.
