Jamal,
I found version 2.2 of the template which I have been working with, and
the dialog seems to work correctly in this version. I am not sure that I
have tried each version since 2.2, but I have tried some of them, and as
far as I know, 2.2 is the only one which will bring up the sample
dialog. I just don't know enough about scripting to know why!

That is baffling, since you seem to be successfully using other scripts
based on that same template.  If we can get to the bottom of this
though, it may explain some other problems people have had that I have
been unable to resolve so far.

Can anyone else try Script Template and let me know your results.  It is
not associated automatically, so use Script Manager to load it as a
global script, then try Control-Windows-S to invoke the sample dialog.
