Make sure that Homer Layout is running in script manager. Sometimes, it is being stopped with an access denied message when Window-Eyes first launches. Restarting the script seems to get it running normally. The ReloadScript package makes it convenient to reload any script.
With that said, however, I just replicated the problem with Alt-Insert-Tab. Text2Set accepted it as a legitimate key, but it appears that Window-Eyes is not seeing the key combination. Instead, I am getting a result as if I had pressed Alt-Tab (without the Insert modifier as well). Is that what happens for you?
