well, I wanted Aaron to be aware of the problem, and also, no one would
normally know of it being there, so I'd have to publish emails on the lists,
which would only get to those reading the lists at the moment (and I suspect
a lot more people are simply using Jamal's install packages scripts, and
check on available updates from time to time, or, allow the WE script update
feature to notify them of an update, which also wouldn't work for a dropbox
update).

so, thanks for the idea, but I'd rather have Aaron help me get it working as
normal; it's a great feature of WE, having the various ways of being
notified when updates are available, so you don't have to go out and
continually check).
