One nice thing about that cryptic language is that it at least is built from
the ground up to access the .net framework. So it might be a good scripting
language if it plays nice with Windoweyes hosting technicals. It is, however,
really, really cryptic and most folks would have a pretty stiff learning curve
to use it successfully me thinks.

  Hi Jeff,

I think the term you're wanting to ask about is "active scripting", and is
discussed at this wiki:
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_Scripting

It's hard to find an answer about PowerShell, but I don't think it is.
here's a wiki for it:
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_PowerShell

They do seem to say it's possible for an application to host it though; so
you could always make a pitch to GW if you'd like them to include it as a
hosted language. For that matter though, they also say it's possible for an
application to host VBA, and even a scripting language derived from .net
languages called VSA (so GW, how about it guys???)

Subject: Powershell - is it considered ActiveX

  Hello GW Staff,

Powershell, a new scripting type language by Microsoft, is it considered
ActiveX aware? Meaning, can it be made a part of WE's script paradime like
VBScript and Jscript is now?
