Correct,
I did finally find my apps that wee not updated. I used the check for
updates and it always said updated, but they were not!
So, I looked on the list at app central and compared manually and found the
one it was ignoring; I probably should say 2, or all!
It needs fixing, or list all those it finds in the message box. Granted you
are only allowed around 1K of chars in the list, but it must be done.

i found the version in the xml file. now it has the correct version number.
but there are still some problems with the app manager program.
several people have had the same thing going on. the app updater will come
up and say there is a update but when you go to the add remove apps and check
for updates it will say there are no updates.
but if you go to the app get and change the view to show outdated it showed
two updates. the app get and quick start guide.
then you can install them and the app updater will not come up anymore.
but no updates come up in the add remove app dialog.

I would recommend uninstalling this app, and informing the author of the
error. I'm not sure what we're expected to do to counteract others' version
problems.

to the staff. there needs to be some kind of program change for the
app update program.
this is the second app that has a version error in the program itself.
the make pointer follow cursor app version is not the same as what is on
app central.
while it is being installed it says its version 2.1 but after it is
installed anything goes.
if you check for updates in the add remove it shows as version 2.1.
and will say there are no updates.
if you open the apps pull down and just arrow to the make pointer follow
cursor from the list, click help it says its version 2.0 if you check for
updates here the app dialog will open saying 2.1 is available.
the dialog will also come up every time w e 7.5 is loaded unless i change
it to never check for updates.
