Hello, Is log4j required to use gwt-log in a GWT client? When moving our project to a continuous integration server (Bamboo), we're seeing the following compilation errors:
The error (pasted below) is a strange one since I've never experienced it or seen it. The only thing I can think of is it's caused by the Maven version. 14-Sep-2009 09:51:22 [INFO] Compilation failure 14-Sep-2009 09:51:22 14-Sep-2009 09:51:22 /sans/home/bmaster/.m2/repository/com/ allen_sauer/gwt/gwt-log/2.6.2/gwt-log-2.6.2.jar(com/allen_sauer/gwt/ log/server/ServerLogImplLog4J.java):[20,23] package org.apache.log4j does not exist We're using Maven and we had to add log4j as a dependency to fix this. However, we didn't need this dependency on OS X or Windows development machines. Seems strange that it's required.
