No insurance will cover racing/rallies/weekly rides. Some wheel manufacturers
will give crash replacement assistance and even warranty under the right
circumstance. You are on your own for bike/parts replacement -- unless you go
to court. One exception is if a car hits you - the car drivers insurance will
cover your loss. There are other possible ways to recover your loss but for the
most part you are on your own. This is why you want to ride with
safe/experienced cyclists.

Speaking of insurance, does anyone know about damage coverage for bicycles?
According to my homeowners policy, my bikes are only covered for theft, damage
due to fire, etc. and was wondering if there was anything out there that was
sort of like auto insurance.
