Gyros,
I will be using my Trek hybrid bike.  I used it on the VA Creeper Trail in 
October 2008 and it was perfect for that ride.  I would expect similar terrain.

I am not opposed to going up there and back in one day if there is enough 
interest for that option.
My preference is two days though.

I will not be at the Sunday Touring ride this week due to some family 
commitments.
I will however be at the Saturday morning B ride if anybody would like to talk 
more about this trip.
