Gyro Nation,

I was looking over the results to the Bridge to Bridge, and, I do not want to
ruin the surprise by giving it away in the text of this email, so I have
attached a copy of the first 50 finishers. There were over 500 who started, but
this is a timed event and there is a cutoff at about 10 hours. I believe that
there were about 370 riders who made the cutoff.

Suffice it to say I am still shaking my head at where our own Steve Leonard
finished. Open up the attachment and find him. I suggest that you start from
the very top and work your way down slowly.

Remember that this is 102 miles of riding over 10,000 feet of climbing. And,
some of the climbing reaches grades that I am exhausted just thinking about.

I just want to say congratulations to Steve. This accomplishment allows him to
be considered one of the finest riders in the area. I am only wondering if he
wore the Gyro colors...

I would like to ask Steve to provide us with a detailed report of his effort.
And, please do not leave out anything, except your modesty!

Rick
