Ooh I should name all of mine. I mentally think of them differently as they all offer different support. I have two that are basically covered in shaped PVC tape so that I can transfer the tape to a flat surface and sculpt, mold, and cast in flexible urethat. These are two fibreglass mannequins. One I call Miss Foamy as she was supposed to be filled and respaed with foam, but she only had half the proceedure done. The other is a half toso that I use for leather forming. No name yet. > Im doing a "costume diet" this > year. Must use only fabrics & trims that are currently lying around the > house in boxes, closets & bins. No purchases of new stuff permitted. > Finishing stuff I've already started and got bored of is also acceptable. > Anyway, it's a fun challenge & given how much stuff I have here it really > shouldnt be *that* challenging. I have had to break my fast as it's so darn difficult to find 30 odd yards of silver lace in one batch! I just ordered some more which is why the marie Antoinette gown is back on the cards. Otherwise it is indeed all purchased before this year. But otherwise I have my Upstage gown and a slinky 1920s velvet gown to work on (one skirt two bodices essentially) so yes it's all Norma Shearer here all the time. But also my Mina red silk gown and Elissa from Phantom of the Opera (stage) are also long term projects that have to be finished this year :) And then there is a pale blue early mantua complete with stays (all stash, hooray!) and several Cleves accessories to update. And the site to go with it as I have so much information that is just not available in English.
