Maybe I should have told you first that I live in Florida, and have worn  
those outfits down here in this heat and humidity for years.  Oh, granted,  
real 
silk would have been much nicer, I am sure, but I was never miserable in my  
synthetic bengaline.  And anyway, it does not matter WHAT you wear down  here, 
you are going to be hot.  I have found that as long as I can stay in  the 
shade, and keep a breeze up my skirt by slowly walking, that I do  fine.
