It is BBC 2, on a Friday at 7.30 our time.
And to Cindy's comment - Yes, at last the powers-that-be have
cottoned on to the idea that it just *might* be interesting to see
experts doing their thing in a real life setting. I have seen, for
example, the man who owns and works the oxen in another period
situation. (Pulling a cart for the Globe one Christmas, but that is
another story.) Unfortunately, for "Health and Safety reasons" (!!!)
they are not allowed to sleep overnight in the farm house.

Me! Me! I was delighted, except for the lady's corset, which was
straight from Janet Arnold, but I guess would have been worn for some
years into the 17th century if you were not living in a city where
fashion moved on. But no complaints or whines about linen and wool
clothing, or even having to wear a corset, just comments about how
things felt. I have my next eleven Fridays already booked. (For those
who don't know, they are showing one programme for each month of the
farming year, starting in September.
