ROTFL!  Not necessarily.  I can't tell you how many scientific
"discussions" (aka arguments) that I've witnessed that are of just that
very type. "My data is better than your data;" "Your model is wrong;" "this group [of researchers -- and They Know Best] says reality is
*this* ergo it must be."  yadda-yadda, ad nauseum.
