> But so much easier to take in than let out, isn't it?

Not if you have changed shape or gone down more than a dress size:)

Your proportions change and often shoulders and armscyes are the hardest to
reshape after taking in elsewhere. It's often easier to make a new sloper
etc than refit an old one.

Last time I lost a lot of weight due to exercising and extremely restricted
calories I totally changed shape and my forn still reflects it. My hips got
narrower and my sholders broader. I really need to cut my dummy down and
reshape the hips and shoulders.

Heh, I just rely too much on bread as a protein substitute. As a vegetarian
I find protein sources either too expensive, too chemically enhanced or too
filling (combining for full protein.) I do love tofu though so I may look
into some more options to use it other than the obvious.
Yay for it being summer here, I can eat salad until it comes out of my ears.

And for the costume content:
I need to lose a couple of kilos so I can happily wear a pretty dress or two
for some singing comps in April. Two songs in costume!
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again for the musical theatre and What Would I
Do for the G&S. Nice contrasting pieces, both options for costume I wanted
to do for ages!

I've had the fabric since 2001 for the purpose but had no reason to make it.

The other will be an early 18thC Mantua:) Or 1780s ensemble.. it depends on
what is closer to the original concept of The Grand Duke.

And now I need to decide on a song for the restricted section and possibly a
sacred song... I don't want to do more than 4 classes.
