I just lost the bulb in my 1983 Bernina. It has served me well until this past weekend when I took it to a friend's house (2 hour drive) to help her ready her wardrobe for a trip to Haifa. Of course it would give out when I'm away from home in a place so small you have to go 45 minutes to find a convenience store! We managed with a desk lamp, but her hubby wasn't pleased to do his work in the kitchen.
