Well, I definitely prefer the fuller look myself! But I want to at least know what the skimpy-but-accurate look actually looks like before I go on to try to get a 9yd+ hem out of 5 yds fabric. =} I also go to great lengths to match patterns on fabric, sigh. I wonder if they got a hunk of fabric like the one I am saving for a special project, where the pattern is off-center on the cloth by two or three inches? If I were to double it over and cut both right and left at once, I'd wind up very off-kilter, unless I remembered to waste that 2 or 3 inches by not folding the cloth exactly in half. I hate matching patterns. Hate.
