I'm not necessarily advocating soaking it in pure bleach--often just  washing 
in the usual dilute bleach solution can be effective.  Another  alternative, 
since it won't show, is to wear it anyway.  However, if it is  truly un
wearable as it is, you do have to decide a trade-off between potential  
weakening of 
fibers vs the spots.
